OPEN CELEBRATION OF THE 25th ANNIVERSARY OF TROMSØ ARCTIC-ALPINE BOTANIC GARDEN, 28 June to 7 July 2019, Norway

Tromsø Arctic-Alpine Botanic Garden was officially opened on 2 July 1994, but has already gained an international reputation of being a very interesting garden to visit. We will celebrate our anniversary during one week, but it will be as an open arrangement and not as a conference with formal registrations and all practical issues arranged for participants. This means that participants are free to take part in all activities, but need to arrange their own transport and meals when in Tromsø.

The illustration above shows plants from a similar course at Alhambra in Granada, quite different from here, but the techniques will be the same. We plan to be outside, using the peripheral café tables if weather permits, using the room of the top floor of the Café building if not.  Pilar will be present in the Garden on Saturday the 29 and can be contacted for her first course held on Sunday 30, at 11:00, duration 3 hours. If needed, another course can take place, starting at 15:00. Persons older than 12 years can attend, the maximum numbers of participants is 8. Course fee is 400 NOK, to be paid at the Garden cafe.
